Overview
What are trust badges for a Shopify store?
Trust badges are small icons with a few words, such as free shipping, easy returns or secure checkout, placed where a shopper is deciding whether to buy.
Assurely turns them into badge sets you edit in one place. Each icon has a title, a subtitle and an optional link, and the whole set follows your theme’s fonts. Payment icons are drawn by Shopify, so they show the methods your store really accepts.
Badges placed with the theme block are written into the page by your theme, with no script. Automatic placement uses a small script to move a set under the buy buttons, under the cart’s checkout button or above the footer.

Features
What you can put in a badge set
Badge sets
A set is a group of up to 12 icons, each with a title (60 characters), a subtitle (140) and an optional link, plus an optional heading above. You can keep up to 50 sets.
1,500+ icons
Search a library in 11 categories, such as shipping, returns, guarantee, security, support and quality, and recolor any icon to match your brand.
Your own icons
Upload an SVG, PNG, WebP or JPG up to 1 MB. The file is saved to your own Shopify Files and shown as an image.
Payment icons
Shopify draws the logos itself. Choose “My store’s payment methods” to show every method you accept, or pick methods one by one.
Four layouts, eight designs
Row, grid, list or payment strip. Start from Clean, Soft card, Outline, Bold, Minimal line, Pill, Dark or Accent bar, then change colors, sizes, corners and columns.
Theme block or automatic placement
Add the Trust badges block to any section that takes app blocks, or turn on the app embed to place a set below the buy buttons, below the cart’s checkout button or above the footer.
Targeting and schedule
Show a set on all products or only chosen products, collections, tags or vendors, with an exclusion. Limit it to countries, or set a start and end date.
Translations
Write the heading and each icon’s text per storefront language. Where a language has no text, the set’s own text shows.
Views and clicks
See views and clicks per day and per set for 7, 30 or 90 days. Counting starts only after a shopper allows analytics, and you can turn it off in Settings.
How it works
How to add trust badges to your Shopify product page
Three steps, with no code. Nothing shows on your store until a set is on and placed.
- Step 1 of 3
Create a badge set
Start from a ready-made set or an empty one.
- Choose Create my first badges for “Free shipping, Easy returns, Secure checkout”, or start from Payment methods, Product highlights or Guarantee.
- Edit each title and subtitle so it says what is true for your store.
- Turn the set on. Sets that make a promise start off, so you read them first.
- Step 2 of 3
Choose icons and a design
Pick how each badge looks, with a live preview beside the editor.
- Open Change icon to search the library, pick payment logos or upload your own file.
- Choose a row, grid, list or payment strip layout and one of the eight designs.
- Adjust icon color and size, text size, corners, spacing and columns for desktop and mobile.
- Step 3 of 3
Place it on your store
Use the theme block, or let the app place the set for you.
- Add the Trust badges block under the buy buttons in the theme editor, then save.
- Or choose Place it for me, pick a position and turn on the Trust badges (auto) app embed.
- Set which products, countries and dates it covers, and add translations if you sell in other languages.
