Frequently asked questions

They work with any Online Store 2.0 theme, which covers every current Shopify theme. On a legacy theme the sections cannot be added from the editor, so we would look at upgrading the theme first.

Pages that use a section stop rendering it, so before uninstalling, replace or remove those sections from the templates that use them.

Every section exposes its colors, spacing, typography and layout as settings, and there is a custom CSS field for anything beyond that.

Sections render server-side with the rest of the theme rather than being injected by a script after load, so there is no flash of unstyled content.
